                  For this week we have learn about evaluating a company's external environment. It's will come out with "PESTLE". Pestle analysis is a framework or tool used by marketers to analyse and monitor the macro-environmental (external marketing environment) factors that have an impact on an organization. The result of which is used to identify threats and weaknesses which is used in a SWOT analysis.

               PESTLE can be form as :

There are five factor to success in the industry which are :

            1) Competition from rival seller
            2) Competition from potential new entrants
            3) Competition from producers of subtitute products
            4) Supplier bargaining power
            5) Customer bargaining power

# Robin hood #

             
               Hye !! For this tutorial session, we need to read a case study "Robin hood". This story is very interesting and full of strategic. Can you imagine how to conduct some organization without knowing the new recruit in same organization??? How to get supplies for food while the size of the band was increase ??? Robin hood did it.

               The main agenda in this story is to against the Sheriff and starting from that many ways to be done which are delegate specific tasks to his lieutenants, change their policy that "Rob the rich and give to the poor" but gaining resistance from subordinate. Vision and Mission :)

               Vision and Mission ??? Do you want to know about Vision and Mission ?? Everybody in the world have their on vision and mission either in their personal life or in organization. It same with me. Let me explain a little bit of vision and mission as i can.

               A vision statement according to Fred R. David is an answer to the basic question like "what do we want to become" or in other word, vision statement also can be define as a long-term view and concentrates on the future. It can be answer in a short answer like my vision is to become a "Business Women".

              Mission is the fundamental purpose of an organization or an enterprise, succinctly(ringkas) describing why it exists and what it does to achieve its vision. The last tutorial session, we need to answer the question " What is your mission coming to USIM? What do you do to achieve that mission? "


             My mission coming to USIM is i want to graduate with first class and make my parent proud of me. To achieve my mission i must work smart in study, do the continues assessment perfectly and always make a Doa' to Allah. I'll use this opportunity as far as possible and it still not too late to wake up and change the situation. I hope it will work to me in order to achieve my mission and i'll become a good Business Women in the world. You already know my vision and mission and what your vision and mission??

My First Lecture

assalamualaikum w.b.t..,

              My name is Norshafiqah Amalina binti Shahrol Amin. I'm from Tma5 tutorial class. Dr. Ummi Salwa and fellow friend can call me 'Amal'. I just want to share about my first experience enter to this class. Okay. My first impression about Dr. Ummi is she looks like very strict person. After a few minutes and have a some of conversation she was a kindly person but decisive. ;)

             In the first class we need to build the highest building and must use a newspaper within 10 minutes.  When we build the highest building, it's must have a capability to stand and it must strong. It's very challenging. My group is not the winner but i'm proud because of spirit of teamwork.

            The lesson that i got from this activity is we must have a strategy in what ever we do to have a good output. In build the building, it must have a strong base to ensure that the building can standing and can accommodate the burden. Moreover, we must humble and not to be greedy because the result will be crumble. It same with what i will learn in this course (Strategic Management).

           I hope i'll success in this course with what i'll learn in the future. Thank you for reading !
